Corinith Suspense Classic paperbacks in 1966 reprinted 5 of the stories
    1.Black Lightning
    2. Crimson Doom
    3. Purple Tornado
    4. The Telsa Raiders
    5. Black Invaders vs Battle Birds (?)

    Titles were
    Black Lightning
    Crimson Doom!
    Purple Tornado
    The Screaming Eye
    The White Death
    The Black Avenger
    The Silver Typhoon
    The Troposphere F-S
    The Blue Cyclone
    The Telsa Raiders
    The Green Thunderbolt
    The Red Destroyer

The Corinth BLACK INVADERS VS BATTLE BIRDS was a short story collection == apparently not only the lead novels but (some or all?) of the short stories in the pulp shared the same background premise, which was rather unusual.

HIGH ADVENTURE reprinted the first two novels in the series years ago, but never did any more, which disappointed me; I’d certainly rather see them do more AYRES and the rounds of rather boring (to me, anyway) PHANTOM DETECTIVE and KI-GOR and such.

      Thanks Denny!
I have a copy of BLACK INVADERS VS BATTLE BIRDS, I just never knew where the stories came from.
I also have copies of :
      Black Lightning
      Crimson Doom!
      Purple Tornado,
      The Screaming Eye
      The White Death
      The Black Avenger
      The Silver Typhoon
      The Troposphere F-S
      The Blue Cyclone
      The Telsa Raiders
but only the Dusty Ayres stories none of the back up stories.
      Thanks again for the info!

PS I would have rather seen Operator 5 and Dusty Ayres reprints over PHANTOM DETECTIVE and KI-GOR !

If anyone has copies of The Green Thunderbolt and
The Red Destroyer, and wants to trade – let me know!
